Loose Lips Media found a natural fit at WIFT Vancouver, supporting gender equity in the film industry through WIFT’s social media channels. WIFT Vancouver is one of several WIFT (Women in Film and Television) chapters across the globe that elevates women and gender diverse filmmakers.

At WIFT Vancouver, we amplify programs that support WIFT’s mandate—including the Tricksters & Writers program for Indigenous screenwriters; the Genre Lab, an incubator program for genre filmmakers; and the newly-minted Emerging TV Producer Program.
In addition to regular support and amplification of WIFT’s perennial programs, we support their annual event, Vancouver International Women in Film Festival (VIWFF).
Loose Lips Media runs several ad campaigns over the year, driving ticket sales to the film festival, securing applications to its programs, and earning registrations to its several online and in-person events.
We pivoted many events, including WIFT’s monthly Coffee Chats, to be online during the pandemic. WIFT continues to run many of its events digitally, with the help of our social team!
